What's the difference between asset recovery and asset disposition?
By asset recovery, we mean the ability to recover actual cash or trade-in value for your equipment.
However, sometimes your equipment has truly outlived its technological and economic life. Other times you have a mix of assets, some with a recovery value, and some with no value, but you need to remove all of it at once. This presents a disposal challenge for both businesses and local governments, because the improper disposal of hazardous materials such as lead, mercury, and PVC plastics can result in legal action.
Amdex has experience managing these end-of-life products. Our process separates non-marketable materials into commodities that can either be recycled or via approved hazardous materials controls, and in accordance with environmental laws.
For your security, we will remove customer identification and wipe proprietary data from the hard drives using industry standard software.
- Experience in proper identification of hazardous materials
- Logistics expertise to help arrange for removal of the assets
- A Certificate of Destruction, including serial numbers, so you know the outcome of your non-marketable equipment
